Secondary School Entry Requirements in 2026: A Quick Guide

In 2018, 10 of the top secondary schools required an entry requirement of approximately a PSLE score of 250 to 264. These schools were (in descending order):

1. Nanyang Girls High School
2. Raffles Girls School
3. Hwa Chong Institution

6. Dunman High School
7. Methodist Girls School

However, since the establishment of the new PSLE scoring system, students now score based on eight bands of Achievement Levels (AL). This change is bound to lead to some confusion on how the secondary school entry requirements might change and what are the scores needed.
