The 2025 Singapore Cambridge GCE Advanced Level Examination Results were released on 27 February 2026. Here is a summary of the key results and what they mean for students planning their next steps.

2025 A-Level Results — Key Statistics

  • Total candidates: 10,977
  • Candidates attaining at least 3 H2 passes: 10,393 (94.7%)

Understanding the Revised UAS (University Admissions Score)

From the 2024 JC cohort onwards (i.e. students sitting the A-Levels in 2025), the UAS is calculated differently:

  • Based on 3 H2 subjects + GP (or KI) + MTL/H1 (if it improves the score)
  • The fourth content-based subject is included only if it improves the candidate’s UAS
  • Maximum possible UAS: 70 points

Early indicators from the 2025 cohort suggest that students have better managed their learning load under this revised system, with teachers noting improved work-life balance for students.

What This Means for 2026 University Applications

For students who received their 2025 A-Level results in February 2026, the university application window for NUS, NTU, SMU, SUTD, SIT and SUSS opened shortly after. Students should check each university’s minimum UAS requirements and subject prerequisites.

2025 A-Level Results: Applications to Polytechnics

Eligible A-Level graduates who wish to pursue polytechnic studies can also apply via the Polytechnic Foundation Programme (PFP) or the Direct Admission Exercise (DAE). Check MOE CourseFinder for available courses.
