About the Direct Admission Exercise (DSA)
The DSA is a programme which allows students to seek admission to certain secondary schools based on their talent in sports, Co-Curricular Activities (CCAs) and specific academic areas.
2026 DSA-Sec Key Dates (Official MOE):
- Application opens: 6 May 2026
- Application closes: 2 June 2026 (4.30pm)
- Interview/trial outcomes: By 28 August 2026
- School preferences submission: 19–23 October 2026
- School allocation results: 24–25 November 2026 (Tentative) — released with PSLE results
Specifically, these areas are:
- Visual, literary and performing arts
- Sports and games
- Debate and public speaking
- Science, mathematics and engineering
- Languages and humanities
- Uniformed groups
- Leadership
How to Apply for DSA 2026
MOE has released a statement of May 6th that students can apply for DSA to Secondary Schools and Junior College from May 7.
The last day for application is 3 Jun 2026.
Application is done online via the DSA-Sec Portal, which can be logged in through Singpass.
This is with the exception of School of the Arts and Singapore Sports School, both schools handle the DSA procedures independently, click on the link above to apply directly.
If it is unable to be done online, MOE also offers a proxy form which can be found here:

What is the DSA procedure like?
- Application via DSA-sec Portal or proxy form.
- Indicate up to 3 choices and 3 talent areas./ Apply to 3 schools.
- If shortlisted, attend interview, audition or trials.
- Receive results on 20 Nov and Fri, 22 Nov 2026.
