Achieve Success with Students from Achievers Dream

About the Singapore Education System

Singapore’s Education System is well regarded globally for its emphasis on academic excellence and rigorous standards. Most notably, the 3 main exams that students go through are the PSLE, O-levels and post secondary examinations such as A-levels.

While these examinations intend to set the benchmarks of knowledge, students that do not have a strong academic foundation often lack enablers.

Hence, school teachers, tuition teachers and parents often form a significant role in a student’s road for knowledge by imparting essential skills. At Achieversdream, this takes the form of chemistry science tuition. To learn about what makes our tuition teachers important in our student’s journey, read on in this article of success journeys.

Why Private Tuition, Small Group Tuitions and Tutoring in Singapore Works

Confidence

Tutoring in Singapore works as it takes into account the learning capacity of each student and targets specific areas for improvement. Over time students will gain the confidence to overcome questions that were once thought to be “too difficult”.

In our interviews with some of our students, as well as the countless reviews, it is often commented that “i do not feel scared”, “my tutor believed in my potential” and “this gives me so much confidence”.

Tuition works because teachers give confidence. This is vastly different from a school condition where teachers deal with a class of 30 to 40 students. Instead, tuition centres such as Achievers Dream offer a host of services to cater to student needs including online tutoring, live lesson demonstrations, one to one consultations, custom notes and many more. When students are equipped with the backing of the teacher’s care and knowledge, confidence becomes a natural part of their journey in overcoming the fear of a subject.

To that end, Achievers Dream aims to help students become the achievers, and 90% of our students achieve the A grades that they desire.

Multi-platform

In today’s world, being able to access different platforms to practice and to source for knowledge is a crucial element of learning. Learn more about the trends of tutoring in this informative article here!

To diversify the learning avenues for students, Achievers Dream (AD) has created 5 main sources of knowledge.

1. AD AI App
2. Chemistry Lab
3. Student Learning portal
4. Free Chemistry Learning Resources
5. Permanent Online Class

When students sign-up for lessons at AD, they are given a choice to customize lesson plans. Firstly, students can choose a location most suited to their schedules, either by commuting to the tuition centre after school or from home.

Secondly, students can then choose some of the elements of the above avenues such as if practical lab lessons are required, or if hybrid class is a preferred mode of learning.

Lastly, students can then attend these lessons to learn more about the topics of interest.

Similarly, Achievers Dream’s multi platform approach has also been useful to students. Some of our students have commented that “they also provide good Chemistry materials”, “AD has managed to collect top quality learning materials” and “videos helped me to understand the topic”. Most students have managed to make use of parts of the curated contents to aid in their Chemistry practices and revisions!
